small,lightweight camera with fast stutter speed and clarity, price does not really matter

I am looking for a compact lightweight camera with the fastest shutter speed with photo clarity to capture candid shots of children. I have the casio H10. Its ok but I feel like I miss a lot. My husband bought me the nikon 1 but its too heavy for what I what, any suggestions?
