sad I’m frustrated

Scoring criteria is driving me nuts. Pity!

I really believe that Snapsort could be, potentially, the best site for anyone considering purchasing a camera. Let me explain why I say "could be, potentially". Once again, I am looking for a camera - this time for one that suits my hobby - and I am once again referring to Snapsort (plus other review sites) to help me reach the right decision.
But...this time round...not only am I feeling very frustrated...I am also extremely disappointed.
I really want to believe in Snapsort...and to use it with confidence...and to recommend it...but I simply can not.
Let me explain. I am looking for a superzoom bridge for my birding hobby. I looked at your "best recent superzooms" list and was surprised not to see the new Canon SX40 in the top 10...only to find it in the 14th place!
Everybody confirms that the SX40 is a better camera than the SX30...so I guessed it was that old very irritating Snapsort method of including "Popularity" as a scoring criteria. I compared both cameras...and I was only partly correct in my assumption. However, this time I was flabbergasted - how can Snapsort include a camera in its rating list and omit (as "unknown") basic (and well known) scoring criteria such as, in the case of the SX40, aperture and full zoom aperture?!!
Come on guys, something's wrong somewhere - you can really do better! Snapsort is a brilliant concept...but, as several have already commented, the "popularity" scoring sucks. This time it's even worse, the sort of omission I mentioned above, make guys like me lose faith...in you...which is a pity! :(
I simply do not have the time to stay computing out the "popularity" criteria for all the cameras in the top 10 list, let alone to check whether all the relevant information has been included (and not simply put down as “unknown”) to be able to compare like-with-like! :(

This comment is written in total good faith...and I hope you can see where I am coming from. Cheers!
