Hey, I was wondering whether snapsort's info on the Sony DSCTX10 was a bit misleading; it states that it has "poor macro" due to a min. focal range of 8cm (compared to the TX5, which supposedly has a 2cm min. range). I think snapsort may have used the "Program Auto" mode specs for the TX10, and the "iAuto" mode specs for the TX5, despite both cameras having the same programs. On Sony's website, it states that the "iAuto" min. focal range for the TX10 is 1cm, same as the TX5 in iAuto (according to their site).

Hi Julian, looks like we made a mistake there, we'll get it updated to 1cm, thanks!

Thanks for that! On a related note, I believe the TX10's video recording is in 1080 interlaced @ 60 fps, not progressive (it still records @ 720p, 30 fps).

Thanks Julian, unfortunately the Snapsort system doesn't yet distinguish between interlaced and progressive, so I've left that for now.
The macro spec has been updated for the Sony TX10. -
