Don't list winners and losers... Often the comparisons are not fair.
why not eliminate the winner vs loser comparison? Instead just list some expanded basic info about the cameras. Continue with the stars, which highlight the differences nicely. I am saying this because your algorithm places a Canon 1D MKIV as the loser vs the Canon Rebel t1i.

Hi Andrew, we've just released a huge update to the site, you can read about it here:
http://blog.snapsort.com/2010/06/snap...
I think it might well address some of your points, for example:
- It now explains the winner/loser in much more detail
- It will call a tie if they are too close
- It will tell you the recommendation should be taken with a grain of salt if the two cameras are in different categories (e.g. snapsort categorizes the T1i as an entry level SLR and the 1D Mk IV as a pro dslr)
- The winner/loser takes more data into account and I think does a much better job!

Hi Andrew, thats an interesting suggestion, one we're considering.
We might work more on improving the algorithm, but even if its perfect I think it will still suffer from the fact that declaring one better than the other overall doesn't make sense in a lot of cases. In the future we plan to make more personalized recommendations, for example given you're interested in X,Y and Z, we think cameras A, B and C best suit your needs.
We'll keep you posted! -

I work in a Pro Camera shop and your site has potencial to become an even more valuable resource than the famed DPReview. So I will very much be interested in seeing what you guys come up with.
