Canon T3 vs. T1i scoring does not compute!

Why is it that the Canon T3 is recommended higher than the Canon T1i when comparing with all other cameras and also when comparing only Canon cameras.

Yet when doing a head to head comparison with the 2 cameras the T1i is recommended higher (has the higher score)

This does not make any sense to me. Can you please explain? I would think that based on your scoring system the T1i should always be ahead of the T3?

Can you please explain?
