There is one essential problem in your comparison of cameras. Strangely enough, but it's too objective. The comparison should be very subjective. Why? Because of different features have different importance for people, who want to decide which camera to buy.
For example you chose the winner the Canon 7D over the 5d Mark II. I, as a landscape photographer would never buy a 7D, since it doesn't have a full size sensor, an essential feature for landscape photography.
Yes, the 7D takes a lot more shots per second, but that is not a factor in landscape photography, but is essential for fast action (sports etc) photography. I hope I made my point.

Hi George, we've released a huge update to the site, see:
http://blog.snapsort.com/2010/06/snap...
The site will weight comparisons based on your criteria using the explore feature, that combined with more comprehensive and better explained comparisons I think drastically improves things.
Would love to hear your thoughts.

Hi George,
I totally agree with your point - the comparisons right now are asolute and don't take into account different usages of the camera or different users. Thats something we're going to improve over time!
So stay tuned.
What else might you look for in a camera thats good for landscape photography? Is the reason that full-frame is essential is that you can take wider angle shots with less distortion? -
