Hi Stacie, great suggestion thanks.
I'm curious, which do you prefer, proprietary or disposable? I think disposable are better for travel, e.g. AAs, because you can replace them easily in a pinch, whereas rechargeables are probably better overall since they are cheaper in the long run.
We'll look to add information on batteries in the future. -

This review mentioning battery life saved me from a costly mistake:

Since I am on-the-go almost continuously, battery life is one of my most important considerations in purchasing electronics. I want to see battery life information included in snapsort. -

Definitely battery life is important, we'd love to be able to compare battery life of any two cameras, we'll consider adding this in the future, thanks.

If the camera doesn't use AA batteries, then knowing whether it can recharge through a standard USB port would be similarly useful information.

Sorting cameras based on proprietary batteries vs AAs, and also in-camera charging would be fabulous. I second Stacie's comment above.
With regard to battery life, it is so difficult to quantify, but where a spec is available for a proprietary battery (ie. mAh) or a figure for photos per charge is quoted by the manufacturer, it would be handy to have, even if it has to be taken with a grain of salt. -

I prefer my Point and Shoot to use disposable batteries strictly for portability and convenience.
