Snapsort's criteria are impressive, but one is missing, I think--material type and build quality. Some highly rated cameras (such as the Canon Rebel) are pure plastic and have, IMHO, a disappointingly "cheap" build quality that is a real dealbreaker for me. This "cheap" feel isn't always a function of price, so knowing which cameras in a price range are better made would be really helpful. If I could, I would filter only for cameras that had the solid feel of a steel or alloy body (such as the Pentax K-7, for example, which is no more expensive than the Rebel).
I should add that, unlike many other specs, this information is really hard to find online. Snapsort could fill this void!
Also, I think this information could really change the "winners" for some people.
Keep up the great work!
Add camera build quality or material type (plastic, steel, magnesium alloy, etc.) to criteria?

Hi John, thanks for checking out snapsort.com and taking the time to send us some feedback.
We're hoping to expand Snapsort to include more fields like this - so look out for it in the future.
